Centre admin portal (CAP)

The Centre Admin Portal (CAP) is the online system used by schools and colleges to manage key examination arrangements. It allows centres to submit and manage requests such as access arrangements, alternative site arrangements and very late arrivals in one secure place, helping examination teams work more efficiently and reduce administrative burden.

Key administrative functions

CAP enables centres to submit and manage the following examination arrangements online, where approval or notification to awarding organisations is required:

  • Access Arrangements
  • Alternative site arrangements
  • Centre consortium arrangements
  • Overnight supervision arrangements
  • Transferred candidate arrangements
  • Very late arrivals

The platform also provides access to interactive documentation and data consent forms, ensuring centres have immediate access to the latest guidance and required paperwork.

Accessing CAP

You can access CAP through your existing awarding organisation’s secure extranet using your current login credentials.
