Summer 2022:
The intended approach to grading, along with examination and assessment adaptations, in the summer 2022 series has now been set out by the DfE and Ofqual. This now allows exam boards to develop guidance for schools and colleges on adaptations, and we will deliver these as soon as possible.
Please note the exam boards will also be publishing their finalised summer 2022 timetables next month.
The DfE has now agreed the results days will take place on the 18th August for A levels and the 25th August for GCSEs.
JCQ’s summer 2022 key dates document, covering the whole spectrum of examination administration, will be published as soon as possible this term.
JCQ and the exam boards will continue to do all we can to ensure students, teachers and exam staff working in schools and colleges are best supported throughout this academic year.

Autumn 2021:
This is a reminder that there is still time to enter for GCSEs exams this autumn, before the entry deadline of 4th October 2021. JCQ's private candidate centre database allows candidates to find an exam centre that may be able to accept their entry. It also enables them to find other qualification types in chosen subjects, and at their nearest exam centre.
To help answer any questions you or candidates may have, JCQ has produced an FAQ page related to the autumn 2021 series.
